In the latter part of 1996 and early 1997 a demand for a new Pelican
design was initiated by many of our customers in Belize. Interests centered around a
design that was longer, wider and much sleeker than the conventional Pelican 25'.
Bradley's incorporated a 28' overall length along with an 8' beam in this new design as
well a sleek reverse sheerline and full deep V in her bottom.

Other features included
large lifting strakes and sharp forward entry. These allowed for fast planning while still
offering soft, dry rides thru any choppy seas. A superior designed stringer system, a
triple laminated transom and
fibreglassed hull to deck joints ensured that the Pelican 28'
would maintain rigidity at high speeds while carrying large loads in the most adverse
conditions.

The
Bradley 28' will outclass most other boats in her class in many aspects. Her capability of
achieving 36 Knots with twin 115 HP outboards while burning only 14 gallons of fuel per
hour make other powerboats in this class no match for her. However, she may be powered
with as much as twin 200 HP outboards for those whose top priority may be lots of
speed. For sport fishing, camping or just cruising, the Pelican 28' is available in a
sleek aero-dynamic cuddy cabin version.
